Our group has arranged special pricing at the Robbinsville, NC Mictrotel Inn as described below. If you'd like other options in the general area such as resorts, B&B's, etc please send an email to info@lexusdragon.com. We chose the Microtel because of its proximity to the Dragon and excellent rates. Plus the owner drives a Lexus too!
Single queen rooms with discount are $62.96
Double queen rooms with discount are $67.46
Suites are $80.96 (have 1 queen, 1 sleeper sofa and mini-kitchen) with discount
The Jacuzzi suite is $98.96 with discount.

and mention "Lexus" group rate when making your reservation.
Please do not call the MicroTel toll-free reservation line which
goes to Atlanta (who have no idea about our special deal).

Additional Area Lodging
While we have a block on 16 rooms at the Microtel (including 6 suites, 5 single rooms, 5 double rooms) the hotel still could run out of rooms. Make reservations soon to get your spot.
There are several other local area hotels as backup in case the Microtel fills up. The recommended spillover for the Microtel is a small locally owned motel down the street called the San-Ran, which is older but clean. There is also a Five Points, a Phillips, and a Dungeon.
The next closest place outside Robbinsville proper recommended is the Tapoco Lodge, which is about a 15 minute drive, about 12 miles. The Tapoco is also the lunch location before our Dragon drive.
Restaurants
Unless folks have objections, I'm also going to go ahead and make
group lunch reservations at the Tapoco Lodge. I thought it was a
good spot last year:<>
- nice location right at the foot of the main drive
- plenty of room for a big group
- decent food
- reasonably priced
- good meeting spot for folks coming up for just a day trip to Deal's
Gap to catch up with the larger group before slaying "the Dragon".
We'll schedule the morning warm-up drive to get us there at lunchtime.
